Magical Methods was started by Mr. Pradeep Kumar in the year 1998. Pradeep Kumar (B. Tech., MBA IIM Bangalore) has more than 35 years of industry experience. He holds 200 plus copyrights and 50 plus patents. In the last 35 years, he has trained more than 25,000 trainers across 80 countries of the world.
How he perfected the system?
Mr. Pradeep Kumar found out that students run away from mathematics because they find it abstract and hence are unable to relate to numbers. He started thinking of a method so that students could start visualizing mathematics and start relating to numbers. The solution came to him while teaching his younger daughter. He gave her a mathematical game and found out that she enjoyed the game thoroughly and started asking for more such games. From there on, he started working on game-based concepts of mathematics and developed a lot of games, such as Math Carrom, Math Ludo, Math Card, Hazari Square, Frog & Toad Game, Star Game, Double Star Game, Math Checkers, Magic Square etc., and worked out a teaching system around these games which took him 20 years. He thoroughly tested and perfected the teaching system in the last 10 years at his research center.
Improvements
He found out that at the time of joining his program a student takes 40 to 50 seconds to answer a simple question of addition of two 2-digit numbers orally, which comes down to 5 secs or less after 12 classes. To back up the findings, he developed a test [MQ Test] and started administering it to the students at his training center. The results of these tests were very encouraging.
